Forward-Deployed Solutions Architect
We’re looking for someone to help large capital project organizations use generative AI to manage their most complex, high-stakes work.
That means working directly with clients, on-site and hands-on, to translate pain points into tailored solutions and to make sure they get used where it counts. You’ll guide deployments of our product, State, making it fit the unique complexity of large capital project environments.
You’ll be our first forward-deployed solutions architect and the day-to-day lead at the client. You’ll be the bridge between the client and our engineering team, making adoption stick and uncovering opportunities to drive real impact.
We’re a team of builders, and we’re looking for someone who wants to build, inside the client, alongside users, and across the product.
What you’ll do
This role is about making the product work in the real world, clearly, effectively, and in close collaboration with the people who need it.
Embed with client teams, including project executives, engineering, SMEs, and IT, to deploy and scale our AI tools
Design and adapt structured review modules and other prompt-based workflows to support project execution
Translate client needs into clear requirements for the engineering team, helping scope features, surface blockers, and prioritize effectively
Lead workshops, training, and feedback loops to build trust and drive adoption
Manage delivery timelines to ensure smooth deployments and successful handovers
Identify new use cases and help shape where and how we expand next
Be on-site often, building credibility and making sure solutions land and last
Who you are
You know how to make complex technology work in complex organizations. You thrive at the intersection of client needs, technical possibilities, and operational realities.
6+ years experience in enterprise software delivery, solutions architecture, or technical project management, preferably in consulting, internal platforms, or vendor-facing roles
A track record of leading client-facing delivery, from discovery through deployment, in environments with multiple stakeholders and high stakes
Comfortable engaging with engineers and data teams and translating between technical and business perspectives
Strong grasp of enterprise processes, including access controls, compliance, deployment pipelines, and change management, and the patience and creativity to navigate them
Domain exposure to engineering-heavy industries such as energy, infrastructure, defense, or manufacturing is a strong plus
Technical fluency and experience as a AI/ML engineer and/or data scientist is a strong plus
A problem-solver who takes ownership, builds trust with clients, and drives solutions forward even when the path isn’t straightforward
Comfortable being on-site and hands-on, building credibility where it matters most
Why join us
You’ll be part of a small, high-performing team building tools that change how the world’s biggest projects get delivered. You’ll shape how we engage with clients, scale deployments, and expand into new industries. And you’ll do it in an environment that values ownership, candor, and impact over optics.
