Send us your CV and 2 or 3 achievements you're proud of that show you'd be good at this. A few lines for each is enough.

We're looking for people who make sure our clients adopt Iconic and get the most out of it: cutting failure costs and schedule overruns on some of Europe's largest infrastructure projects by double digits.

We started Iconic in mid-2025 to build what wasn't possible before AI: software that helps the owners and builders of large infrastructure projects make and assure the right decisions at any point in the project lifecycle. Today we support five clients across energy, rail, airports and industry.

We work with asset owners and with the general contractors who take on a significant part of the design risk, because the decision on what to build drives most of a project's value. The organisations we work with typically allocate more than a billion a year in capital across a portfolio of projects.

You'll be one of our first delivery hires and build how Iconic delivers with our founders. Krijn led assurance reviews of megaprojects at McKinsey and built a venture-backed company before Iconic. Richard built and exited an AI company that sold into national governments. You report to Krijn, and once a client signs, delivery is yours.

What we deliver

We help these organisations make and assure the decisions that ultimately drive value creation. These projects are too complex for anyone to hold the full picture, and each level of the organisation experiences that differently. Your job is to make sure each level gets what it needs from Iconic:

  • Control, for executives. A systematic view of where each project in their portfolio actually stands, so they know where to step in.

  • Security, for project directors. Each discipline's work checked against the rest, so every major decision is assured before it's taken.

  • Productivity, for project teams. Iconic drafts documents and takes on their most laborious work, such as submittal reviews, bid evaluations and building the risk register.

Why delivery matters

On these projects, many cost overruns and delays are set in motion before execution starts: at stage gates, in tender evaluations, in risks that were never identified. Iconic is a powerful platform for exactly those moments. We have tested it on completed projects: using only the documents from before execution, it consistently found the root causes of what went wrong later.

But a powerful platform does not change a project by itself. It has to become part of how a client works: built into their stage gates, tenders and reviews, and used by the people who do the work, project after project. Unlike in consulting, you do not hand over a recommendation and leave. You see the decisions change and the tools stay in use.

How we deliver

Every client starts with Iconic Start. We take one important decision or cumbersome process, such as a stage gate, a project about to go out to tender or a subcontract package, and run it through Iconic in our own environment. It shows results within days, and it is where the project teams come on board. From there we move to Iconic Enterprise: the full platform, deployed across their projects and integrated with their systems, their standards and the way they take their big decisions.

Our engineers are forward deployed and spend 50 to 80% of their time on client work. You are the link between them and our clients: you decide when to bring them in, and work with them every day on what the product should do for each client.

What you'll do

This role is about making Iconic part of how our clients work, and building the way we do it.

  • Prove value. Run Iconic Start on live projects, then give the users quick access to the tool so they experience the value directly

  • Deploy. Take clients from discovery to operational use. Onboard new users and configure tools such as project readiness assessments and bid evaluation to fit each client's governance, stage gates and review processes

  • Own the account. Manage our client accounts day to day. You are their first point of contact, from project teams up to executives, and accountable for their success. Judge when the founders need to get involved

  • Expand. Measure and show the impact of each deployment, find new use cases inside each account and turn them into new work

  • Shape the product. You talk to more users and see more use cases than anyone else in the company. Bring back what several clients are asking for, and have a real say in the roadmap

  • Build with design partners. Work with our engineers and design partners to develop and iterate on new features

  • Build the delivery model. Decide what good onboarding looks like, set up configuration templates and a standard way to run an account, and work out how it scales

The work is output first. Within your first months, our clients see you as their first point of contact, not the founders.

Who you are

The essence of this role is turning a signed engagement into something a large organisation actually uses, gets value from and keeps paying for. A good pilot does not sell itself: adoption depends on the people in the project teams, and expansion on whether the executives see the impact. You need to be good with both.

  • You have four to seven years of experience, in one of three profiles:

    • You have delivered complex enterprise software into large organisations, the way Palantir's deployment strategists do

    • You have capex or construction consulting experience, at a firm like McKinsey, BCG, Accenture, Deloitte or a specialised boutique, ideally with an engineering background

    • You have been an engineer or project manager on large infrastructure projects, ideally with some internal or external consulting experience. You know the pain first-hand, and you have a knack for getting things delivered

  • You like navigating complex organisations, and you thrive on using every tool you have to deliver the value Iconic brings: project management, stakeholder management, structuring a messy problem, or doing the work yourself

  • You work well with engineers and are technical enough to decide with them what the product should do

  • You enjoy building (not running). We are early stage, everyone is an individual contributor and there is no playbook yet. That should excite you

  • Dutch is a plus, not a requirement

In the coming years we want to add 10 to 20 new global clients on an annual basis, and grow each one into the full platform. How you build delivery is what makes that possible.
